Black Boxes Appear within Citrix Published Apps

We recently experienced an issue where users saw black boxes overlaying parts of their Citrix published app. This happened when they locked their client screen for any length of time. The users in question had recently been updated to Windows 11 clients so we suspected that at first. It ended up being a problem with Citrix Workspace Client 2503.1 and .2 and certain Intel graphics cards. Strange thing was it only was reported for a single published app out of many that we use.

It also affected virtual desktop users, but the symptom was different. Basically, you had to minimize the desktop to click on anything else on your client.

In our case the fix was to update to 2503.10 which is a preview version right now. So, either manually download it or change your Workspace client to use the Beta channel temporarily and then check for updates.
