I watched the “What’s New and What’s Next” Citrix Webinar today. Some highlights:
- New cloud based licensing experience coming soon for onprem deployments. They assured us that air gapped environments will have a way forward, but not a lot of detail yet.
- Always On Tracing (AOT) – trying to reduce Citrix support incident times by enabling this on all onprem components by default. Logs will be human readable for those of us that like to do our own troubleshooting.
- LTSR versions will now be annual with two CRs a year
- UberAgent integration into the VDA, Workspace Client and Director (if you haven’t seen this yet it is really awesome!)
- Interesting information about Post-Quantum Cryptography as it relates to NetScaler
